Gilbert Carrasco brings more than 20 years of experience in senior living, healthcare, and memory care to his role as Chief Operating Officer, with a career defined by operational leadership and a forward-looking approach to the field.
Gilbert has served as executive director at respected communities across California and Texas, including Aldersly, Carillon, and Salem Lutheran Home. His background extends beyond senior living as well. He served as Director of Texas Tech University's Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, an experience that sharpened his collaborative instincts and his conviction that the best outcomes come from making sure every contributor feels genuinely valued. He joined the team in December 2023 as Executive Director at The Variel in Woodland Hills, California, before stepping into his current role.
Gilbert holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and two master's degrees, one in management and one in environmental design. He is a committed advocate for the thoughtful use of advanced technology, including AI-driven systems that strengthen safety, security, and quality of life for residents and staff alike.
