Josh Johnson

Josh Johnson built his reputation doing what most operators said couldn't be done: setting records for occupancy, net margin, and price per unit during the 2008 recession, when the rest of the industry was in crisis mode.
He went on to lead the international expansion of senior living into China, successfully opening a 3,000-apartment CCRC and developing plans for six additional communities, then leading the first large Chinese insurance company to invest in U.S. senior housing. In 2016 he founded Atlantis Senior Living, which has brokered over 60 properties valued at more than $900 million.
Josh holds a Master's degree from USC's Leonard Davis School of Gerontology, one of the top programs in the world for senior living and aging research.
