Leo McKinley brings more than 15 years of CFO experience in the senior care industry, complemented by deep expertise in homebuilding, commercial construction, and technology development, making him one of the more versatile financial leaders in the field.
Leo spent 13 years as CFO and Principal at Westmont Living and Westmont Construction, where he helped grow the company from three communities to 19 through ground-up development and strategic acquisitions. His hands-on approach to building finance teams, developing operational systems, and leveraging technology to drive efficiency was central to that growth. Prior to Westmont, he served as CFO at Optivest Properties, overseeing financial management for a 22-property portfolio alongside high-net-worth financial planning. Before joining the team full-time, he spent four years as an independent consultant advising growth organizations on financial strategy and operational positioning.
Leo holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from California State University, Fresno, and is both a Certified Public Accountant and a licensed California real estate broker.
